The Belliveau Cove Development Commission Project sought a new logo and a bilingual website in French and English to spearhead a fundraising campaign for acquiring the Stella Maris, a 17th-century Dutch-class replica crafted by the late shipbuilding artisan, Jean Belliveau. They needed a cohesive visual identity and an accessible online platform to engage supporters and promote their initiative to preserve maritime heritage.
SOLUTION
To meet the campaign's needs, we designed a new logo that honours Jean Belliveau's craftsmanship and symbolizes the historical significance of the Stella Maris project. We developed a bilingual website featuring compelling content in French and English, detailing the vessel's history, fundraising goals, and ways for the community to get involved. This user-friendly website served as a central hub for donations, event updates, and storytelling about the shipbuilding legacy in Belliveau Cove, engaging supporters and rallying community support for acquiring and preserving the Stella Maris replica.
